Vânători-Neamț Natural Park
A natural park established in 1999 and managed by Romsilva, the only place in Romania where the European bison has been reintroduced into the wild.
Its broadleaf and mixed forests surround the Neamț, Secu, Sihăstria, Sihla, Agapia and Văratec monasteries and include four reserves, among them the 'Dragoș Vodă' bison reserve. The visitor centre was fully refurbished in March 2026 with a life-size bison diorama, VR stations, a 70 m² immersive projection and an 'Artists' Corner' devoted to Creangă, Sadoveanu, Vlahuță, Hogaș, Eminescu and Grigorescu. Children under 10 enter free.
