The gondola links the city centre near the railway station with Mount Cozla on a route of about 1,915 m with over 300 m of vertical rise. Eight-seat cabins make the trip in 6–8 minutes with views over the city and the Bistrița valley. Since May 2025 residents of Piatra Neamț and neighbouring communes pay reduced fares. Cozla has a ski slope, Cozla Park and the zoo.
