
The History Museum from Romanwas inaugurated in 1957.The first exhibition was open for public in 1958 and it was organized from only 3 pieces. Today the collection numbers over 170,000 objects. The exhibition is permanent and it’s hosted in 15 rooms. The objects displayed here are from the era of the carved-stone and up until the First World War.
The Natural Science Museum from Romanwas first opened in 1962 and starting with the year 2011 it’s located in a new building from the main park from Roman. The building of the museum has a surface of 463 square meters and hosts collectable pieces from the confluence area of Moldova and Siret rivers. The museum has an original and valuable patrimony and hosts collections of fauna and flora from the forests that surround Roman.
