Terms and conditions
Rules for using Visit Neamț, conditions for buying tickets online, consumer rights and dispute resolution (ANPC, ADR).
Last updated:
1. Who runs the site
The Visit Neamț website is run by Consiliul Județean Neamț (Neamț County Council), Str. Alexandru cel Bun nr. 27, Piatra Neamț. Full identification details are on the Legal notice page. By using the site you accept these terms.
2. Information on the site
The site gathers the tourist attractions, events and routes of Neamț County in one place. Opening hours, prices and events come from their owners and organisers and may change without notice. Before you travel, check with the source (phone or the attraction's own site), especially for hours, fees and events. If you see a mistake, write to cons.judetean@cjneamt.ro and we will correct it.
Events. Event pages show the date, place, entry (free or ticketed), tickets and how to register, as the organiser provides them. Registration and tickets for events are handled by the organiser (link or contact shown on the page), and the contract is with them. Organisers may move or cancel events; check with the organiser before you travel.
When a price or an entry condition is not known, the site leaves it blank instead of guessing. Links to external sites are provided for information; we are not responsible for their content.
3. Online tickets
You can buy tickets for the museums that have this feature switched on, and for the county pass. The sale contract is between the buyer and the museum or operator named on the purchase page. [TODO-CJ: name the seller (the museum or the County Council) with tax ID and contact details, for each museum]
- Prices are shown in lei, by visitor category. Reductions (for example for students) require proof of status at the entrance. [TODO-CJ: confirm whether prices include VAT]
- After ordering you receive an electronic ticket with a QR code, on screen and as a PDF. Each ticket admits you for the date, time and category written on it and is validated once at the entrance.
- Current edition: card payment is simulated, so your card is not charged. [TODO-CJ: clarify whether tickets issued in this edition are valid at the door] Before real payment goes live, these terms and the privacy page will be updated with the seller and the payment processor. [TODO-CJ: date real payment goes live]
- The county pass rules (validity from the first scan, one entry per museum, the reduced fare) are shown on the pass page.
Withdrawal and refunds. Leisure and visit services with a specific date or period are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal (Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014, art. 16). If the museum cancels or moves the visit, you are entitled to another date or a refund. [TODO-CJ: exchange and refund policy at the customer's request, per museum; legal check of the reference to OUG 34/2014]
4. Content and copyright
The texts, photographs and data on the site belong to Neamț County Council, the museums and other partners, under their agreements or licences. We publish only images we have the right to use. You may quote briefly and link to pages. Any other reproduction needs the owner's written consent. [TODO-CJ: if the data will be released as open data, choose the licence and state it here]

5. Fair use
Do not use the site to overload or attack it, to scrape the ticket database automatically, or to try to access data that is not yours. We may block access for abuse.
6. Liability
We take care that information is correct and the site available, but we do not guarantee the absence of errors or interruptions. We do not limit liability where the law does not allow it, including for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor your rights as a consumer.
7. Personal data
Data processing is explained in the Privacy policy, and on-device storage on the Cookies page.
8. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you have a problem with an order or the site, write to us first at cons.judetean@cjneamt.ro or call +40 233 21 28 90. We reply as soon as we can. [TODO-CJ: committed response time]
- ANPC, alternative dispute resolution (SAL, ADR in English): consumers can use SAL bodies, free of charge, after trying to settle the matter directly with the seller. Information and the complaints platform: anpc.ro/ce-este-sal and reclamatiisal.anpc.ro (Romanian).
- The European ODR platform was closed on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228). The list of consumer dispute resolution bodies in EU states is at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
- Courts: you can always go to the courts of Romania.
9. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. We may update them; the current version is the one on this page, dated 8 October 2026.
