Eagerly awaited by young people, the Tare ca Piatra Festival (16–18 July 2010, Piatra Neamț) offered a display of courage and skill by skateboarding and downhill enthusiasts.




Tare ca Piatra Festival from Piatra Neamt, July 16 – July 18 2010 was a true spectacle of courage and mastery of those passionate about skateboarding and downhill.

Established as a nature park in 1999 and covering 30,818 ha, Vanatori Nature Park offers visitors numerous attractions and a wealth of natural, cultural and historical heritage.

Sihla Hermitage lies 6 km from Sihăstria Monastery in a glade in the south-eastern Stanisoarei Mountains, an area also known locally as the Sihlei Mountains.

Sihla Hermitage is situated at about 6 km from Sihastria Monastery, in a plane from the south-east of Stanisoara Mountains, also known by the locals as Sihla Mountains.




Neamt County Council re-opened Negulesti Balneal Resort on June 19, 2010. At the event were present representatives of the local authorities, private investors and a synod of priests.

The Zilele Orasului event takes place in Piatra Neamț during 24–27 June 2010, when residents will also celebrate the city's patron saint, Saint John the Baptist.

Between June 24 and June 27, 2010 Piatra Neamt will celebrate the City days. It’s a motive of joy to celebrate not only the town but the patron and protector of Piatra Neamt: Sf Ioan Botezatorul (St Joan the Baptizer).



On 19 June 2010, Neamț County Council officially opened Negulesti Resort, bringing it back into the county's tourism offering.
