Roughly 19 km route from Bicazu Ardelean via Telec, the Bistra valley and Curmătura Stănilelor to Cabana Dochia, mostly doable by 4x4 and easier than other Ceahlău routes.
Aprox. 19 km, bandă albastră, mare parte accesibil cu 4x4; via Telec, Poiana Stănile, Curmătura Stănilelor.
Traseu prin pădure de amestec (brad și fag), peste Curmătura La Scaune (sit arheologic, stâlp de orientare), cu panoramă spre faţa de sud-vest a masivului Ceahlău; cu noroc, capre negre sau râşi. Ajunge la Cabana Dochia, unde se face popas.
Getting there
From Bicazu Ardelean about 4.5 km on asphalt to Telec; then the commune road toward Ceahlău commune along the Bistra valley.
Good to know
