Between August 4 and 9 2012 will take place the XV edition of the International Folklore Festival “Ceahlau”, organized by “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center from Neamt County.

Neamt Monastery museum – The museum displays cult objects made out of precious metal, embroideries, fabrics, wood sculptures all made by the monks from the monastery or that were received as gifts over time from different rules.

At Sihăstria Monastery, beside the cemetery, stands a wooden church of great artistic and architectural value, remarkable for the original way its craftsmen created its ornamentation.

In Madei village from Borca commune was recently opened and Ethnographic Museum called “Stramosii”(The Ancestors) – a place dedicated to old traditions from Bistrita Valley.

Neamt County has two Natural Science museums that offer through their permanent exhibitions to all nature lovers rare and usual animal species that represent the flora and the fauna from these parts.

The Cave of Saint Teodora de la Sihla lies in the wild forests of the Neamț region, in Vânători commune, near the monasteries of Neamț, Secu and Sihăstria.
