Cuejdel Lake is the largest naturally dammed lake in the country and lies within Gârcina commune, Neamț County.




Cuejdel Lake is the biggest natural dam lake of Romania and it’s located in Garcina commune, Neamt County.

This year's Piatra Neamț Town Days celebrations will take place during 24–27 June. The official opening will take place on Thursday, 24 June, starting at 14:00 at Stephen the Great Tower in Libertatii Square.

The entire area from Cheile Bicazului – Lacul Rosu represents an attraction point of great touristic importance for tourists that come each year to admire the beautiful natural stones that nature created here.

Neamț County is home to the oldest, most numerous and most imposing monasteries in Moldavia. The concentration of places of worship in this area reflects the great number of monks in the Neamț mountains who sanctified these places, endowed by God with such beauty.

The history of the monastery at Agapia and the surrounding area goes back much further and is closely linked to Agapia Veche Monastery, which still stands on the northern mountainside.




In 1960, a collection of historic ecclesiastical art was established at Văratec Monastery, in the buildings on the left-hand side.

In 1927, the first monastic museum was established at Agapia Monastery, housing not only liturgical objects and religious art, but also secular artworks: textiles, needlework, woodcarvings, jewellery and other works of art from different parts of the country.
